WANGANUI COUNCIL MEETING OX THURSDAY Convened by the Superintendent in Agriculture at Palmerston North. Mr. C. J. Hamblyn, a meeting of the Wanganui District Council of the National Council of Primary Production will be held in Wanganui on Thursday morning. The Placement Officer. Mr. E. J. Appleton, the agricultural instructor, Mr. A. R. Dingwall, and a representative of the New Zealand Workers’ Union will be present. The Wanganui Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union will be represented by Mr. W. Peat, the A. and P. Association by Mr. T. Mitchell, the District Pig Council by Mr. T. E. Wilson, the District Young Farmers’ Clubs by Mr. A. V. Marshall, the Wanganui County Council by Mr. A. H. Collins, the Waitotara County Council by Mr. G. Palmer, the Dairy Factories’ Association by Mr. A. Haworth, the Sheepowners’ Federation by Mr. W. Glenn, the Seed and Produce Merchants’ Association by Mr. G. Orr and the stock and station agents by Mr. R. V. Brown.
