The weather was brilliant and members enthusiastically enjoyed the day. The president. Mr. J. N. Anderson, presented the trophies at the conclusion of play. Results were as follow: Morning.- Ladies v. Men: Miss L. Carey beat J. Peterson; Miss B. Wilson beat J. Edwards, Mrs. Haddow brat. E. Horner. Mrs. Broker lost to S. Ed' ards, Mrs. Carey halved with L. Paton. Mrs. Masters lost to C. Carey. Mrs. Paton beat Findlay. Mrs. Cardiff lost to J. N. Anderson, Miss N. Carey lost to Tidbury. Miss Anderson lost to C. Hucker, Miss Barker beat H. A. Boswell. Miss Barnes beat Fleet. Miss Strauchon lost to T. Cardiff. Mrs. Adams lost to C. Beauchamp. Ladies: fi wins. 7 losses. Men: 7 " ins. 6 losses. M. to perform the opening ceremony of the children s paddling poo! and baths, which is to be held on Saturday, December 2. at 2.30 p.m. The Seaside Society and Surf Club are tb be asked to arrange a short programme of sports. The chairman and members of various local bodies will be invited to be present.
