IJEUT.-COLONEL A. J. MV’RHEAD. FOUND DEAD IN BED. LONDON. Oct. 29. 1 The death has occurred nf Lieutenant Anthony John Muirhead. He | was found dead in his bed by a butler. ! Lieutenant-Colonel Muirhead, born in 1890, was educated at. Eden, Magdalen College, and Oxford. He served in the Great War and in the Lithuanian army from 1919 to 1920. He represented the Wells division of Somerset from 1929 and since 1937 lie had been Under-Secretary of State to the Air Ministry, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour from 1935 to 1937.
