UNION UNITY FUND
MOVE IN SOUTH AFRICA [ British Offlcial Wireless. ] Received Oct. 30, 6.5 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 29. South African Press reports state that sponsors for the "Union Unity Fund" propose to form branches throughout South Africa. West Afri a. Rhodesia, Nyasaland, Kenya. an I Tanganyika "to assist in the war gainst Nazi paganism." They also intend to inaugurate a truthful service bureau to give effect to their aims by the widespread distribution of pamphlets, by an ideological exhibition ot the Union's historyillustrating the political idea of national unity, and by a special “lies detector" department, staffed by economists, historians, and students of international affairs to combat Zeesen radio and other Nazi propaganda. There hs been a good response io the first appeal for funds.
