CANDIDATES RETURNED UNOPPOSED. i Received Oct. 29, 6.30 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 28. Sir William Jowett (Labour) was returned unopposed for Ashton Underlyne. Commander Stephen King-Hall yesterday became a National Labour member of Parliament for Ormskirk division, in a non-contested by-elec-tion due to the retirement of Sir Thomas Rosbotham.
