ESCAPE FROM BURNING HOUSE
CRYING BABY SAVES OCCUPANTS. [ Ter Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Oct. 29. The crying of a sick one-year-old baby which wakened her mother, saved the whole family, when a house at New Lynn was destroyed by fire early this morning. The occupants, Mr. 'and Mrs. L. Subritzky and their two children, lost everything they possessed. When Mrs. Subritizky ran into the baby’s room in answer to her cries about one o'clock, she found flames already coming through the wall from the kitchen. She awakened the family and all escaped
