MEETING IN TOKIO
BRITISH AMBASSADOR AND JAPANESE MINISTER •1 British Official Wireless j RUGBY, Oct. 28. In connection with the reports of a meeting yesterday at Tokio between Sir Robert Craigie and the Japanese Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, it is pointed out in London that Britain made it clear at the time of the interruption of the Tientsin talks that it was ready to resume discussions at any convenient time, and that willingness has been implicit in the British attitude since then. No report on yesterday's conversation has yet been received from Sir Robert Craigie.
