ANOTHER U-BOAT SUNK
SUCCESSFUL ATTACK BY FRENCH Received Oct. 29. 6.30 p.m. LONDON. Oct. 28. Th? British I'nited Press Paris correspondent reports that French destroyers and seaplanes carried out several direct attacks on l’-boats. At least one submarine was sunk, being torn apart by a depth bomb. The bodies of a number of the cKTw were recovered by fishing boats or were washed ashore. The French navy has announce! that this U-boat was sunk m undisclosed waters on Friday.
OVER SOUTH GERMANY BRITISH RECONNAISSANCE FLIGHTS. Received Oct. 29, 6.30 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 28. The Air Ministry announced that reconnaissance flights for the first time penetrated South German.'. All the machines returned to safety.
