Fire and crash tenders for the R.N.Z.A.F. have been, put through rigorous tests in Wellington this week. Apart from engine and chassis, practically the whole of the equipment has been built in New Zealand. The upper photograph is of a test of foam equipment in quelling a thorough-going oil fire staged at Thorndon reclamation. Below are two of the machines after a speed test at Rongotai.
