WOOL PURCHASE
PORTS OF APPRAISEMENT [ Ter Press Association.j WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. ‘ The announcement of ports at which New Zealand wool for purchase : by the United Kingdom Government | would be appraised was made by the Minister of Marketing. Hon. W. Nash, in a broadcast address to-night. The ports are Auckland. Gisborne, Napier. Wanganui. Wellington. Timaru, Dunedin. and Invercargill. Mr. Nash said that after a full conference with the overseas shipowners and the allotment committee, a tentative devision had been reached for appraisement at Tokomaru Bay. Nelson, and Blenheim. The final - ision depended on agreement about the extra cost involved in connection with appraisement at these places.
