He also made reference to j the club's new president, Mr. W. R. S. Brewer and his popular wife, and s said that the Brewer family had been < closely connected with the Waverley < i Racing Club ever since its inception. Mr. Brewer's father, the late Mr. W. , Brewer, was also president of the c lub < for many years. Mr. Dickie also spoke j of the splendid services rendered to f .the club by the retiring president. Mr. j [Palmer. During the afternoon Mrs. ?
