WEEK-END TRAINING
WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT A TWO DAYS PROGRAMME The First Battalion of lhe Welling-j ton West Coast Regiment will promote a special week-end training programme at Wanganui on November 18 and 19. Orders issued by the commanding officer. Lt.-Colonel D. A. C. Lilburne. E.D., state that Battalion headuuarLers, headquarters company and A and B companies will concentrate at Wanganui. the Wanganui and Marton personnel (including the band) parad-j ing at the Drill Hall at 9 a.m. oni November 18. Full uniform (slacks and military boots) and equipment! will be worn. The co-operation of] employers is being sought to ensurethat a full two days programme mayj be adhered to. Headed bv the band, the battalion parade will march from the Drill Hall to the Putiki rifle range on the Saturday morning, leaving the hall at 9 a.m. Battle practice will take place on the range, and at 4 p.m. the parade will leave to return to the Drill Hall. A suitable programme is to be drawn up for the Sunday.
