ROAD TRANSPORT
CO-ORDINATION OPPOSED WANGANUI PROTEST The Wanganui branch of the New 1 Zealand Road Transport Alliance of I Area and Route Operators has pro- 1 tested against the attitude of the Government in attempting to force 1 members into a compulsory co-ordina-tion scheme. The operators affected are in Wanganui, Waverley, Waitotara, Raetihi, Ohakune, and Marton. The protest was made at a meeting this week when it was decided to resist any scheme other than that operating at present which it was considered gave the maximum of efficiency to the public.
