MERGER OF CARRIERS
HAWKE’S BAY FARMERS PROTEST TRANSPORT CO-ORDINATION (Per Press Association.) • DANNEVIRKE, Oct. 27. The co-ordination of transport in southern Hawke’s Bay was considered by the Farmers’ Union which passed a motion strongly protesting against the forced merger of district carriers. The meeting was satisfied with the past service and was notaware of the unnecessary waste.
