ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH CANDIDATES , (Own Correspondent,) PATEA, Oct. 26. On Tuesday evening the Rt. Rev. ' Hilliard, Bishop of Nelson, administered confirmation in the Anglican Church, Patea. For his address the Bishop chose the text, “Be thou taiu.ful unto death and I will give thee a i crown of life,” and speaking to the candidates he stressed the seriousness j of the step they were about to take | in their church life.
