* A DECISION IN WELLINGTON a c PRICE TRIBUNAL TO DECIDE 1 c L i'er Pi.'ss Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 2b. r The Wellington City Council, at a special meeting to-day, decided, on “ tne recommendation of the Tram- t ways, Electricity and Street Lighting p Committee, to make an increase in -j tramway lares to bring in an extra f £BOOO yearly and to increase the bus L fares to realise an additional ifooo q yearly, thus making t>p £9OOO yearly, 0 which it has been agreed to pay to the council's tramway and bus employees. j The increase in tram fares consists of confinining the existing 2s 6d concession ticket to three sections and the introduction of a new 3s eighttrip ticket for four and five sections. - J The resolution to increase the fares r will be forwarded by the city solici- s toi to the Price-fixing Tribunal for o approval.
