Cross have returned 1o Wanganui after a holiday visit to Pahitua. Mrs. M. G. Bignell, Wanganui, visited Wellington this week. I Mrs. W. .1. Rogers, who is visiting ; her daughter. Mrs. J. Durnbleton. Nelson, is expected to return lb Wanga- | nui to-morrow. j Mr. and Mrs. I ? . Cullen. Doric Hill, who have been visiting Hastings, have returned home. I Miss Cynthia Wilson Bulls, who has been staying in Wellington for the golf tournament, has returned home. Miss Norma Brailsford was a Wanganui visitor to Christchurch foi the week-end. Mrs. J. G. Swainson, of Pahiai.ua. is visiting Wanganui as the guest of Miss Avery, Ilipango Teri ace. Miss Jean Harman, Wanganui, is the guest of her aunt. Miss A. M. Harman. Christchurch. Mrs. H. Y. Widdowson, of Christchurch. who has been visiting Dr. and Mrs. H. L. Widdowson. Wanganui, and also staying in Palmerston North, has returned home. Miss Valma Howard, of Makirikiri Valley, Wanganui, is the guest of Miss Maureen Worsfold, Feilding. Miss Helen Rees-Jones, who has been Ihe cooking demonstrator at the Dunedin City Council electrical showroom for the past 1G months, has resigned her position, and was met by the city electrical engineer (Mr. G. T. Edgar), and the showroom staff and presented with an appropriate gift. Mr. Edgar congratulated Miss Rees-Jones on her approaching marriage, and wished her every happiness. while the showroom manager (Mr. Niven' referred to the high esteem in which Miss Rees-Jones was held bv the staff.
