MISCELLANEOUS CASES The following cases were dealt with by Mr. A. Coleman, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court at Wanganui yesterday:— For cycling at night without lights Edward Joseph Longeran, Edward Hood, John Berry and Elliott Jamieson were each lined £l. with costs 10s. Ralph Henry Watt Lowry, for negligent, driving of a motor-car at Putiki, was fined £5, with costs 19.-. Senior-Sergeant L. R. Capp stated that Lowry drove in an erratic manner and forced a cyclist on to the footpath at night. James Claude Stewart, who drove along Anzac Parade al. night without a light, was fined £2, with cos's 10s. Roy Young, for speeding on Somme Parade, was fined £3 with costs 10s. and for driving witfi only one headlight he was fined £2, with costs 10s. For parking over a fire plug, Esther Ware was fined 10s, with costs Ils. William Candy, who was found on the promises of the Rutland Hotel after hours, was fined £2, with costs 10s. Loo Donovan, for a similar offence. was fined £2. with costs 10s.
