RUMANIAN OIL
■ DIU'ICULTY OF TRANSPORT TO GERMANY. I Received Oct. 15, 6.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 14. ; The New York Times' Bucharest i correspondent, says the physical diffi--1 culties of Danubian transport are . likely to slow up Rumanian shipments of oil and grain to Denmark. Before the war 26 per cent, of oil exports were transporteel on the Danube and four per coni, by the railways; but the Danube Is dillicult, firstly, because there are few Rumanian tankers, and secondly, the river is frozen for 130 days early tn i the winter and the railroads arc unj prepared and unequipped for in- ' creased oil transport, having only 8000 i tanker trucks with a total capacity of j 109,000 tons, mostly used in the ini terior. It is believed the next six months will show diminishing oil ex- | ports to Germany.
