Maurice Malkin, a charter member of the United States Communist Party, testified before the Dies Committee that the party has nuclei in the Brooklyn Naval Yard, one of the largest in the United States. The Army Intelligence Service has summoned the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a case in which reports of sabotage, which also involved the warship Arizona, were received h\ G-men.
