' i SCOTS EXPRESS IN BLACKOUT ACCIDENT Received Oct. 15, 6.30 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 13. In the midst of a black-out which increased the confusion, the second section of the Scots express collided with the first half, which was standh ing at the platform of Bletchley Stall tion. while a light engine was shunte i-ng a coach on to the rear of the first section. The driver of the light engine was killed and the engine hurled on to the platform, demolishing the waitingroom and the refreshment-room and killing a customer. Doctors and first-aid officials rushed to the scene and rendered every assistance, aided by bystanders with electric torches. ‘J MORE SERIOUS VERSION .0 Ls Received Oct. 15, 11.50 p.m. 0 LONDON. The blackout was relaxed while the casualties were attended to.
