OBITUARY
SLR, GEORGE JEFFERY The death has occurred of Mr. George Jeffery, of Symonds Street, Onehunga. He joined the Gordon Tent. No. ?. 1.0. R., over 50 years ago and retained his interest in the lodge until his death. He was also a very keen indoor bowler and helped on a number of occasions to win the Pascoe. Cup for the Gordon Tent. He also won a number of other trophies. REV. FATHER J. A. KILGOL R The dealh has occurred of the Rev. Father John Arthur Kilgour, aged 41. Born in Greymouth, he was educated at the convent and Marist Brothers' schools. Greymouth. St. Patrick’s College. Wellington, and the Holy Cross College, Mosgiel. He was ordained priest at Greymouth in 1923 by Bishop Brodie Ho is survive?) by two brothers, Cyril, of Auckland, and Denis, of Dunedin, and two sisters.
