LOST CONTROL OF MACHINE. [ l’;r Press Association ] NAPIER, Oct. 13. Injuries sustained when an accident occurred in Napier yesterday, resulted in the death in hospital to-day of John Boyd, middle-aged. Boyd was cycling dow i a steep incline in Goldsmith Road when a tyre blew out. He lost control of his machine, ran over a bank, and was thrown into the backyard of a house below the road. His injuries included concussion, spinal injury, and partial paralysis.
