John Leonard Hall, a young man, found guilty of negligent driving, causing death of a cyclist, was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment and was disqualified from driving for five years. Mr. Justice Northcroft said there was nothing vicious in the case but like a great many motorists, principally young but also many older ones, accused had driven irresponsibly without, due regard to the rights of others.
