Horses From South Island.
i Consignments of Clydesdales and other horses of the heavy type, suitable for ploughing, have been arriving from the South Island for the Wanganui horse fair, which will be hold on Saturday. It is expected that ap-1 proximately 80 South Island horses will be offered. The horses are shipped on the inter-island ferry express steamer to Wellington and then railed to Wanganui. Six arrived last Saturday, six more on Tuesday and a dozen last night. Probably 40 more are ''ue to arrive U>-dav and to-mor-row.
