ADMIRAL SKI ROGER BAI KHOI SB. LONDON. July 16. Ihe death has occurred of Admira Sir Roger Backhouse, former Firsl Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff who resigned a month ago. Admiral Sir Roger Backhouse wa.i>orn in 1878. He served in th* European War. in which he won the C.B. and C.M.G.. and was Director ol Naval Ordnance in 1920-22. Rear-Ad-miral Commanding the 3rd.
