WRESTLING
ANOTHER STAR BOUT FOR WANGANUI PAUL BOESCH TO MEET DAZ7IER CLARK TWO OF THE FASTEST MATMEN TO VISIT THE DOMINION Wanganui wrestling enthusiasts who have followed the performances of the various men imported by the Dominion controlling body this season have been particularly impressed by the reports of the displays given by Paul “Bombshell” Boesch and Jim “Dazzler” Clarke. Consequently the meeting of these two men in the local ring to-morrow evening is being awaited with keen anticipation. Clarke has been in the country since the commencement of activities and his popularity has grown with every match, while his calibre has been proved by the tough battles which he has put up against all kinds of opposition including Iho one with “King Kong” Cox last Monday. He is a firm believer in fast and aggressive action and it is part of his plan of campaign to allow his opponent absolutely no rest. Such a policy can only be pursued by a man who is tough enough to absorb all the punishment that may come his way and who is always in tip-top physical condition. Boesch was recalled for his second tour of the Dominion this season because of the popularity he earned in 1936, when there wa.s no greater boxI office attraction in th’3 country. Stronger, tougher, and heavier than before, he is at the peak of his form this season and his many spectacular manoeuvres have never before been executed with such daring and dazzling brilliance. He is a firm believer in unremitting speed from the opening gong and he often moves so fast that, the spectators, as well as his opponent, are liable to be bewildered.
