The demonstration ! was arranged by the Minister ol Public Works, Hon. R. Semple, and there were present representatives of local bodies in the Wellington and Manawatu districts. The Minister of Labour, Hon. P. C. Webb, and a number of members of Parliament, heads of the Army. Navy and Air Departments were also present.
