NATIONAL PARTY DANCE AT BULLS
(Ow n Correspondent). BULLS, July 1. Last week’s dance, under the auspices of the Bulls branch of the National Parly, attracted a large attendance, and non-dancers were catered for in lhe card room. First class professional music was supplied, and a splendid supper was prepared by Mrs. D. Brookie and her numerous assistants. The Monte Carlo was won by Mis’s B. Carter and Mr. W. Lamberg, and the luck}' Gay Gordons by Miss G. Thorby and partner. The function was one of the most enjoyable held here this season, and great credit for its smooth running is due to the hon. secretary, Mr. S. LastHarris. REST ROOM AT BULLS. Mr. J. E. Walker presided over a meeting of the Plunket and Rest Rooms committee, held last week, when the plans prepared by Mr. J. Chasemore James were approved. As soon as confirmation is received from Wellington re lhe subsidy from the Government Centennial G'ants Committee, tenders will be called for lhe i erection of the building. The structure is of pleasing design, providing a bright, sunny rest room, and also permanent quarters for Lhe .Plunket nurse.
