Russell and Patrie Knowles, “Four’s a Crowd, Warner Bros.’ swiftly-paced corned; romance, is showing at the Majesti' Theatre. Walter Connolly, Hugh Her bert, Melville Cooper, and Franklii Pangborn arc also featured. Th< quartet to whom the title refers i made up of Errol Flynn, as a forme, newspaper editor who has become ; high-powered public relations counsel lor; Olivia de Havilland, as a spoilet heiress to many millions; Rosalim Russell, as a clever and witty, as wel las good-looking, newspaper reporter land Patrie Knowles, rich playboy en gaged to wed Olivia, who inherits Uh paper on which Rosalind works. Thf crowding to which the members of th< quartet subject each other begin: when Pat decides to end his news paper’s existence because it is losin; money, but is roundly denounced b; the outspoken Rosalind. Errol return to the newspaper business, and, look ing for a sensational issue to aroui- ’ interest, launches a series of at \ on Olivia’s grandfather, played ir | Walter Connolly, who is an irascibh ! and unscrupulous millionaire busines brigand. Errol meets Olivia and fall in love with her, although he is alsi courting Rosalind. He is so sticcessfu with Olivia Yhat she breaks her en gagement to Pat, and the latter turn to Rosalind for solace.
