RECORD FLIGHT
DUNEDIN TO AUCKLAND MORE THAN AN HOI U OFF SCHEDULED TIME ( Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, June 19. A record flight for commercial aircraft between Dunedin and Auckland was made by one of the Union Company's Electras, via Christchurch Wellington, Palmerston North, and New Plymouth. The machine was to have left Dunedin at 8.30 but did not get away till 10.35, and arrived at. Auckland at 355 as against the schedule time of 3 bv rapid landings, take-offs, and fuelling taking off 65 minutes from the scheduled time.
