TURAKINA RIFLE CLUB
A practice shoot was tired on Saturday, the weather conditions being fairly good. D. Wilkie, a boy of 12 years and has only been shooting for a short time, put on the very creditable score of 100, registering one off the possible at 600yds. Possibles were put on by J. Kelly at 300yds., W. Strachan at 500yds., and C. Baldwin at 500yds. The following are the scores from 300, 500, 600 yards, and the total: — J. Kelly, 35, 33, 33—101; D. Wilkie, 33, 33, 34—100; H. Goile, 34, 32, 32 98; W. Strachan, 32, 35, 31 —98; C. Baldwin, 31, 35, 31—97; R. Wilkie, 32, 34, 30—96; S. Fowler, 26, retired.
