WESTMERE BRANCH The third annual meeting of the Westmere branch was held at Mrs. Birch's home on Monday, April 23. Those present were Mesdames Birch, Sherriff. Pratt, C. B. Laird, Greenwood, Norrie, R. S. Taylor, Cave, McKenzie. Wood, and Miss Treadwell. The financial statement was read and adopted. The report on the year's work was read showing the branch to have had a very successful year both socially and financially. The resignation of Mrs. Sherriff as president was received with regret. Eulogistic references were made of her work during Ihe years she has held office. The election of officers for the on-
suing year resulted; President, Mrs. J. J. Taylor; vice-presidents, Mesdames Birch and Sherriff; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Pratt; advisory member, Mrs. H. C. Taylor; committee, Mesdames Leach, Prince, Cave, Dickinson, Norrie, Laird and Miss Pairman.
