GERMAN BOMBING PLANE. SPEED OF 3211 MILES AN HOUR. Received March 21, 5.5 p.m. BERLIN, March 20. Germany's latest twin-engined Junkers bomber established a world speed record for land planes. It carried a load of two tons lor 621 miles at an average speed of 3211 miles an hour, the former record being 294.5 m.p.h. AIR FORCE BOMBER CRASHES CREW OF FOUR KILLED. Received March 21, 5.5 p.m. Received March 21, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, March 20. A Royal Air Force bomber crashed in a swimming pool at Lincoln, the crew of four being killed.
