STOCK RY GAY LOTHARIO SELL WELL. MELBOURNE, March 6. I There was brisk bidding at to-day's yearling sales. Eleven Gay Lothario youngsters bred at the St. Albans Stud realised 6725gn5. A colt by Gay Lothario— Balkan Rose was purchased by El Golea's owner, the Hon. A. Crofts, for lOOgns. A Gay Lothario- Donna Celesta colt was bought by Mr. A. G. Scott for 150gns., and a Manfred—Loorma colt by Mr. A. Lane for 1150gns. A Manitoba —Werbelle colt brought 1100 guineas, a Manitoba—Sterepera colt 100 guineas, a Lawmaker —Miss Meadows colt 850 guineas, a GayLothario Sweet Echo colt 800 guineas and a Manitoba -Avert colt
800 guineas. Mr. W. Devon, of New Zealand, paid 500 guineas for a Lo Zingaro—Recuperation colt.
