A BRISK MARKET Received March 6. 8 p.m. MELBOURNE, March 6. There was brisk bidding at to-day’s yearling sales, eleven Gay Lothario youngsters bred at St. Alban’s realising 6725 guineas. A colt by Gay Lothario—Balkan Rose was purchased by El Golea’s I owner, the Hon. A. Crofts, for 1100 | guineas. A Gay Lotlvrio—Donna Celesta colt was bought by Mr. A. G. Scott for 1150 guineas and a Manfred —Loorama colt by Mr. A. Lane for 1150 guineas.
