WELLINGTON SUFFERS I 1 NEW SPECIES NOTED i [ Per Urea Aisoriatioe.] WELLINGTON, March 6. An unusually large number of mosquitoes has been noticed in Wellington this summer, among them an uncommon species. Dr. F. S. Mac-Lean, of the Health Department, said the mosquitoes • caused only irritation. There was no fear of disease from them. The department and the City Engineer's Department had been hunting out the breeding places. Dr. Mac Lean said the uncommon species was apparent only in small numbers.
