CLOSER TOUCH WITH EMPIRE COLLEGES [ Per Pjcbo Association.] WELLINGTON, March 6. In an endeavour to establish closer touch between the great public schools of England and the secondary schools of the Empire, Mr. F. B. Malim, till recently master of Wellington College, Berkshire, England, is to visit New Zealand next month. He is being sent round the Empire by the headmasters’ conference and is to arrive at Wellington from Australia about April 11, going immediately to Christchurch, where he will be the guest of the headmaster of Christ’s College, Mr. R. J. Richards. After visiting Waitaki and Dunedin, Mr. Malim will return to Wellington about April 20, where he will probably be the guest of the headmaster of Wellington College, Mr. W. A. Armour, for about two days. Later he is to visit Wanganui as the guest of the headmaster of Wanganui Collegiate School, Mr. A. R. Gilligan, and will then travel to Auckland via Ro- ' torua. Mr. Malim's total stay in New Zealand will be less than three weeks. It -will not be possible for him to make contact with more than a limited number of headmasters of ■ secondary schools. During his tour ' Mr. Malim will be accompanied by i his wife. Mr. Malim was educated at Blackheath School and Trinity College, ■ Cambridge.
