Mr. Lionel Follett has returned to Wanganui from a holiday in the Marlborough Sounds.

Mr. J. W. Heenan, Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs, is a visitor to Wanganui for the United Fire Brigades’ Association Conference, which opens this morning.

Hon. B. C. Robbins, member of the Legislative Council, and Mrs. Robbins are at present visiting Wanganui in connection with the Fire Brigade Conference.

Mr. Ormond Wilson, formerly M.P. for Rangitikei, sails from Auckland to-day, by the Monterey, for San Francisco. He will travel through the United States to England, and, before returning to New Zealand next November, will visit France and Germany. He intends to return to the Dominion either via Capetown or Suez.
