MINER INJURED
BURIED BY COAL ACCIDENT AT MILLERTON MINE WESTPORT, March 2. A miner, Arthur Jones, aged 33, a married man, was injured by a fall of coal at the Millerton Mine to-day. He was completely buried beneath the coal and received extensive injuries, the extent of which is not known. He was admitted to the Buller Hospital, where his condition is reported as satisfactory.
