STRETTO STRATCHED FROM NEWMARKET.
Received March 3, 10.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, March 3. The forecast is fine and warm. The going should be satisfactory. Stretto was scratched from the Newmarket Handicap at 12.50 p.m. Young Idea has been withdrawn from all engagements and will be retired to the stud. Respirator is running in the King's Cup in preference to the Brunswick Stakes. No decision has been reached regarding Early Bird.
