NOTABLE INCREASES MORE GOVERNMENT BORROWING NOTE ISSUE GREATER WELLINGTON, March ?. Outstanding features in the weekly statement of assets and liabilities of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as at the close of business on Monday, February 27, are:— Sterling exchange higher on the week by £316,524 compared with an increase of £358,531 for the week ended February 20. Note issue increased by £17,218. Advances to Marketing Department higher by £154,057. Advances to Government higher by £300,000.
