MASTERTON SHOW
OUTSTANDING STOCK DISPLAY. AWARDS IN CHAMPIONSHIPS. MASTERTON, Feb. 14. The Mastertoil show opened to-day in fine weather. The entries total 2636 as against 2383 last year. There is an outstanding display of stock. Championships were awarded as follow:—Ryland ram, Massey College (Palmerston North); reserve, C. A. Wyeth (Gladstone); ewe and reserve, Massey College; Hereford bull, J. R Matthews (Featherston), cow and reserve, J. R. Matthews; Ayrshire bul and reserve, W. Moore and Son (Masterton), cow and reserve W. Moore and Son, group, W. Moore and Son; Lincoln ram, L. R. Wilton (Rangitumau), ewe, L. R. Wilton. Additional championships awardee include the following:—
Corriedale ram, championship and ’ reserve, William Rayner (Masterton); ■ ewe and reserve, William Rayner. 1 Tamworth boar, W. H. Birdj (Mauriceville West); sow, A. G. ; Golder (Nireaha).
