The Dome’ news agency’s Tsingta< correspondent reports that after th Japanese seized th« tramp steame Yungsheng on suspicion of not declar ing a quantity of currency and silve bullion intended for the Chinese, th cruiser Birmingham arrived an landed an armed party which con fiscated the Yungsheng’s papers i order to prevent the investigation an would not allow the Customs officer to board the Birmingham. The Japs nese also seized two Norwegia steamers.
