“THERE GOES MY HEART.” “There Goes My Heart,” showing at the Plaza Theatre, is a story of an heiress who, as a protection from for-tune-hunters, is kept a virtual prisoner on a yacht by her wealthy grandfather. Virginia Bruec, Patsy Kelly, Nancy Carroll, and Fredric March are the stars. “Convict 99” and “Battle of “Boadway.” The inimitable Will Hay gets mixed up with a gang of “gaol-birds” in his latest film, “Convict 99," which begins at the Plaza Theatre to-morrow. In “Convict 99” Will Hay is a doctor who has applied for a position at a prison and is welcomed as the new governor. After getting mixed up with various intrigues he is thrown into prison. When he comes out he begins to reform the entire policy of the prison and stars by fitting every cell up as “exclusive apartments.” In “Battle of Broadway,” based on the American Legion's “unconventional convention” in New York, the merry military onslaught is provided by the Army, Navy and Marines. Victor (Sez you) McLaglen and Brian (One punch' Donlevy arrive on the Gay White Way in the Legion vanguard—to see what makes the cosy little village on the Hudson River so popular. These battle-scarred veterans know all the manoeuvres—and when they lay siege to beautiful Louise Hovick, “Battle of Broadway,” like the Battle of the Marne, becomes nothing more than A whole collection of tights conveniently tiled under one heading. The cast of the film includes Raymond Walburn. Lynn Bari. Jane Darwell and Robert Kellard . “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The notable technicolour production “Snow White and the Seven Owarfs” will be presented at the Plaza Theatre next Monday. This is Walt Disney's first full-length production and it. comes as a brilliant climax after his work in producing “Silly Symphonies” and "Mickey Mouse” cartoons, which have for some years delighted theatre audiences. The story has been adhered to with but few altrations, and the characters have been instilled with ail those touches so definitely associated with Disney’s creations.
