THE STEAMER DALFF.AM. POLICE SEARCH VESSEL FOR EXPLOSIVES SYDNEY, Feb. 3. Reports that an attempt would U made to prevent the Dalfram from sailing from Port Kemblt. for Japan with its cargo of pig iron by disabling ' it with bombs were received by the \ police, who carefully searched the vessel but nothing of an explosive nature was revealed. ■A strict watch will be maintained until the Dalfram leaves. No difficulty was experienced in obtaining British seamen to fill v-cancies on the steamer from which six had deserted. The vessel has finished loading the pig iron.
