The Navy Office- announces that the Japanese submarine ‘‘No. 163” was sunk yesterday morning after coinaing with another submarine in tIK Bungo Straits during manoeuvres. Rescue work is proceeding. "No. 163” was launched at Sasebo in 1920 She is 3311 feet in length and carries a complement of 56.
