STRUCK BY SLING FATALITY IN NAPIER ( Per Pr.ni Anne-intlon.l NAPIER, Feb. 3. Knocked from a railway truck during the discharge of a vessel at the breakwater William John Culley, an elderly waterside worker, died in hospital from severe injuries. Salt was heing discharged in slings from the Kauri. Culley was struck by a sling and was thrown from the truck on to another truck and then on to the wharf.
