BOOT AT SYDNEY SECOND IN HALF-MILE * Received Feb. 3. 8.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 3. The New Zealand athlete, Boot, competed and finished second in the SBO yards handicap off scratch at the Manly athletic carnival. The event was won by P. Eades, of Manly, off 35 yards in Imin. 54 l-ssec.
