PRICES FIRM WITH ANIMATED BIDDING. Received Feb. 2, 9.45 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 2. Wool prices for all best descriptions are now back to the level of a month ago, and the market to-day was very firm with animated bidding. Greasy Merino sold to 241 d per lb. The offering was 11,421 bales, of which 10.470 were st Id at auction, and 1139 privately. The average price for wool for the first two days this week was 10.2 d per lb.
